Request Teaching Assistance from a Graduate Fellow

Applications for teaching assistance from a Graduate Fellow should include:

  • A brief narrative (two pages or less) that describes the project/activity and how it will enhance student learning, how it will benefit a community group, organization, or agency, any previous experience you have had with Theory Practice Learning and/or experiential/service learning, and anticipated enrollment for the course.
  • A brief description of the level of assistance you are requesting (e.g., one-time event, multiple sessions, etc.), how that assistance will support experiential/service learning, and when in the semester you would need this assistance.
  • A copy of the course syllabus.
  • A two-page vita including your rank, teaching and research interests (please list any previous courses you have taught that incorporated the TPL pedagogy or included an experiential/service learning component), and recent publications.

A faculty committee representing the humanities, social sciences, and sciences will review applications for assistance.
