Call for Mini Grant Applications - Summer/Fall 2008 One of the primary goals of the Office of University-Community Partnerships is to mobilize Emory's intellectual resources to assist community groups, organizations, and agencies in the Greater Atlanta area in addressing critical community needs. OUCP administers a seed grant fund to provide small grants to assist Emory faculty and staff in achieving this objective. At present, this fund has two programs: Community Partnership Mini Grants for Teaching. This fund provides financial support to faculty for the incorporation of experiential/service learning components into existing courses. Grants of up to $2,500 are available and awards are made twice a year. Community Partnership Mini Grants for Research. This fund provides financial support to faculty and staff for pilot research projects that provide a direct and tangible benefit to communities in the Greater Atlanta area. Grants of up to $5,000 are available and awards are made on a quarterly basis.
