Through its own resources and with financial support from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Office of University-Community Partnerships has funded four Community Partnership Graduate Fellows for academic year 2000-2001. These fellows are available to work with faculty who are interested in adding a service/experiential learning component into their course by providing assistance with the design and/or administration of these activities. In addition, fellows are available to work with faculty, staff, and community groups, organizations and agencies on short-term or pilot research projects.

OUCP is particularly interested in utilizing the graduate fellows to support teaching and research activities that have the potential to evolve into longer-term relationships with local groups and agencies. We are especially interested in projects that allow students to gain first hand experience with real life issues, engage in some type of research activity, and provide assistance to the local community in addressing a critical problem or need.
